Read 2 Chronicles 29:7

The priest and Levites had shut the doors to the temple and put out the lamps. The priest were no longer burning incense as an offering to the Lord.
As we know most incense has a sweet aroma. Incense was used as a symbol of prayer at this time in the temple.

Many of us have shut our hearts to the Lord and have turned our lamps out. We no longer have the desire to know the truth. We are no longer offering prayers to the Lord.
We need to be cleaned up! The cleanup process allows the Lord to open our hearts and let his light shine in our lives. We must bow down before the Lord in prayer asking that he clean us up. We want our prayers to be sweet and pleasing to the Lord. Our prayers are an incense before the Lord.

We declare and decree that when we allow the Lord to clean us up that we will not go back to the way we used to be. The Lord will do marvelous work in our lives, when we allow him into our hearts.

Prayer:
Lord, clean us up so that we may offer sweet and pleasing prayers in your sight. In Jesus name, Amen!
